CUDP Moving?

We live in a new world where 'On-line' and 'High-Availability' are the watchwords of the day.   CUDP has evolved to where we are heavily involved in providing 'On-line' services where we need to guarantee 'High-Availability'. With this in mind, CUDP is pleased to announce that we will soon be moving our on-line connections and ASP server to a Colocation Data Center.
Colocation Data Centers are built for the express purpose of  Disaster Recovery, High-Availability, and  Security.  They provide multiple redundancies for internet connections, power availability, and cooling systems. They are high Security sites and are equipped with multiple fire suppression systems and have also addressed the

risks of flooding and earthquakes.
The Colocation center addresses all of our concerns about security and disaster recovery well beyond what CUDP could ever hope to provide in our own data center.
CUDP will be moving our production systems into a secure rack at the colocation center within the next 1-2 months.  Our goal is to complete this move with as little impact to our credit unions as possible.  There will be some minimal but necessary planned down time as we move the main ASP and on-line links to this site.  This will be completed after hours at a minimal impact time.  We will provide notice to those affected so that you will be aware of any planned outages.

CU-TIP:  On-Line EFT Card History Search Tool
CUDP has just added a new tool to help with researching EFT Cards by searching the on-line logs for transactions.   The card history can be accessed by pressing Shift-F4 on the member screen.  This will take you to where you can add/edit EFT cards.  This is a great tool that will allow you to quickly see what is happening with a member's card if they call with a problem or to research transactions on a card.

Accounts Payable Module

CUDP has recently released our Accounts Payable system which is available to all of our credit unions AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!  This long anticipated module is so simple to use, but still has some great high end features.  This simple module makes sense for all of our credit unions to use as it not only provides time savings

in managing your payables, but also gives you tracking and report capabilities that are a major benefit.  The Accounts Payable module is found on menu CU03.  If you select the menu option for Accounts Payable and then press shift F1, you will see our documentation which should get you started using the module.

Acquiring on Shared Branching

CUDP has seen a lot of interest for the acquirer side module of shared branching to complement our host interface.  The acquirer module allows your credit union to act as a 'Shared Branch Service Center' to perform transactions for other members at your branches.  This is particularly advantageous as through these transactions you earn fees which help offset the costs of your members using shared branching network at other locations.
Although there are 3rd party programs currently available for this module,  the CUDP

credit unions have asked CUDP, being a trusted technology partner, if we could provide this module.  This is a high priority project for CUDP and we hope to have the program completed and ready to certify by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2007 which means it should be ready for use in the 3rd quarter .  We hope to not only offer this module to CUDP credit union members, but also to other credit unions which would provide some great exposure for CUDP introducing other credit unions to the service and value you have come to enjoy working with CUDP.
